Ceviche

Recipe Notes:

I used one whole snapper which ended up yielding 4-6 servings of ceviche. If this is too much then you can get any smaller amount of sushi-grade fish and lessen the ingredients.


Ingredients:

Meat

  • 1 Whole Snapper

Produce

  • 1 Avocado

  • ½ Cucumber

  • ½ Red Onion

  • 2 Tomatoes

  • 1 Jalapeno

  • ½ Cup Cilantro

  • 3 Limes

  • Salt to taste

Tools:

  • Mixing Bowl

  • Sharp Knife

Directions:

Step 1:

  1. Dice the avocado, red onion, tomatoes, and jalapeño.

  2. Finely chop the cilantro.

  3. Thinly slice the cucumber.

  4. Filet and slice the fish into very thin strips against the grain

Step 2:

  1. Mix everything in a mixing bowl and squeeze the limes to slightly cook the fish.

  2. Add salt to taste.

Serve with tortilla chips or make tacos with corn tortillas.
